PN Gadgets is a UK sole-trader business that buys used electronics, sells refurbished devices and carries out repairs and upgrades. We trade as PN Gadgets at pngadgets.co.uk.

• Quote details: the device, its storage, condition answers and anything you tell us about it.
• Account details: your email address, password (stored encrypted by our hosting provider, never visible to us) and any name you add.
• Contact and delivery details: name, email, phone number, address and postcode when you accept an offer, book a collection, buy a device or book a repair.
• Device and transaction information: device identifiers you give us such as IMEI or serial number, inspection results, offer amounts, orders and payment records.
• Repair information: fault descriptions, requested services and any photos you upload.
• Messages you send us by email, phone or through a form on the site.
• Basic technical information handled by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site, such as your IP address in server logs.

We do not ask for card details on this website and we do not store card numbers.

• To give you a quote and honour the offer we make.
• To arrange postage or collection, inspect the device and pay you.
• To process purchases, offers and repair bookings, and to keep you updated.
• To run your account, including sign-in and password resets.
• To answer your questions and keep records of the transactions we complete.
• To keep the website secure and prevent fraud.

Your information is held in our hosted database and file storage. Access rules mean each customer can only see their own quotes, orders, repairs and photos, and administrator access is restricted to the business owner. Repair and internal photos are stored privately and are not publicly accessible. Connections to the site are encrypted.

We keep transaction records for as long as needed to run the business and meet UK tax and accounting requirements. Quotes that are never accepted, and drafts saved in your own browser, are kept for a shorter period. You can ask us to delete your account information where we are not required to keep it.

We share information only where it is needed to provide the service:

• Our website hosting and database provider, which stores the site's data on our behalf.
• Our email provider, to send quote confirmations, repair updates and account emails.
• Postage or courier services where a device is being sent or collected.
• Our bank or payment provider, to pay you or take payment for a purchase.
• eBay, where a listing is involved — see the section below.
• Anyone we are legally required to share information with.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

The business owner can connect the PN Gadgets eBay seller account to our stock system. This connection is made through eBay's own secure sign-in; we never see or store eBay passwords, and the access keys are held on our server only and never shown in the website.

With the permissions granted through eBay, we receive information about that seller account's own listings — such as titles, descriptions, item specifics, prices, quantities, listing identifiers and listing photos — so that stock can be imported into our own inventory. We only request the permissions needed for this. We do not use this connection to access other people's eBay accounts or data.

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, or object to a particular use. Email Admin@pngadgets.co.uk and we will respond as soon as we can. If you are not happy with our response you can contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

We use only the cookies and browser storage needed to run the site. Our Cookie Policy explains each one.
